Hi All,
I have installed Xfce 17.6.
How can I install the previous version of aMule so that I can see
if it is behaving in the same manner as the currently available
version? Is it accessible through the repositories?
The previous version functions normally under the Xfce 15.7 I have
on another partition.
Thanks, MTB.

Hi Bill,
I can’t seem to find it in the repositories.
$ sudo emerge -pv "=net-p2p/amule-2.3.1"

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "=net-p2p/amule-2.3.1".
* IMPORTANT: 1 news items need reading for repository 'gentoo'.
* Use eselect news read to view new items.
mtbvfr@calculate ~ $ sudo emerge -pv "=net-p2p/amule-2.3.1::gentoo"

Where else can I look for it?
Would either of the 2 following archives from the aMule Source Forge repository be usuable?
aMule-2.3.1.tar.bz2
aMule-2.3.1.tar.xz
https://sourceforge.net/projects/amule/files/aMule/2.3.1/
Could I copy the aMule files from the Xfce 15.17 installation in to the same locations on the 17.6 installation?
Thanks, Michael.
