Is there an updater icon show updates?

I’m running XFCE Gentoo and would like to know if there’s a updater indicator for the updates or popup to let you know if any updates.

CLDX? What version did you install?

I install the latest version

If this is a fresh night assembly, then there may not be updates. You can run `cl-update` from the console or run the update program from the XFCE menu.

yeah but is there a update notifier that can tell you how many updates you have so you know if theres any?

If the user has the right to update, then he will have a notification icon in the tray. By default, the only user Guest has such rights.

what you talkin about, I I’m the user admin all rights etc. I do not have notifier on tray for updates

Does <<cl-update -p>> show updates?

Well that didn’t do much or finish just keeps spinning in terminal

But as i said before is there a update notifer on panel of xfce to show me how many updates come or are there when they come

Another thing is, When i type this command in

emerge --sync

I do not get this as i should shown here

For example: @ eix -u --format ‘installedversions:NAMEVERSION’ | xargs basename -a@
