Impact

A context-dependent attacker could execute arbitrary code or cause a Denial of Service condition.

Workaround

There is no known workaround at this time.

Resolution

Gentoo has discontinued support for Xpdf. We recommend that users unmerge Xpdf:

      # emerge --unmerge "app-text/xpdf"
